Role Overview

As Assistant General Manager, you'll partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a crew of team members in delivering exceptional service and maintaining store standards. This full-time position offers hands-on leadership experience in a fast-paced convenience store and fuel station environment where your decisions directly impact customer satisfaction and profitability.

Core Duties

• Supervise crew scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure consistent service quality
• Manage inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation while minimizing waste and loss
• Open and close the store, handling cash reconciliation and security procedures
• Monitor food safety and sanitation standards throughout the facility
• Address customer concerns and resolve operational issues in real time
• Support the Store Manager in meeting sales targets and operational key performance indicators
• Coordinate with the fuel team to maintain pump and forecourt standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior retail, foodservice, or convenience store management experience
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and train team members
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
