Associate Director, Clinical Data Configuration

Takeda is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Data Configuration for a full-time position based in Massachusetts. This senior leadership role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing clinical data systems that support our research and development initiatives and drive the success of our clinical trials.

The Opportunity

As Associate Director of Clinical Data Configuration, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of clinical data systems within our organization. Your expertise will ensure data integrity, compliance with regulatory standards, and seamless integration across clinical trial platforms. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and configure clinical data management systems to meet specific trial requirements
• Establish and maintain data quality standards and validation protocols
• Partner with clinical, IT, and regulatory teams to implement robust data solutions
• Oversee system testing, documentation, and training initiatives for all users
• Monitor data workflows and optimize processes for operational efficiency and regulatory compliance
• Lead technical reviews, problem-solve configuration challenges, and mentor team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in clinical data management or pharmaceutical data systems
• Advanced knowledge of clinical trial data standards and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Demonstrated expertise in configuring and managing clinical data management systems
• Strong project management capabilities and proven cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proficiency with data management platforms, databases, and analytical tools
