Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise inbound warehouse personnel in daily receiving and stocking activities
• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy, condition, and compliance with food safety standards
• Train and mentor team members on proper handling procedures and warehouse systems
• Coordinate with distribution and quality teams to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory requirements in a food distribution setting
• Identify efficiency improvements and participate in process optimization efforts
• Document activities and maintain accurate operational records

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in warehouse, distribution, or similar logistics operations
• Solid understanding of inbound processes, inventory systems, and warehouse management
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate diverse teams effectively
• Competency with warehouse management systems and standard computer applications
• Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution abilities
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance in food handling
