What This Role Involves

As Director, Global Launch Excellence Lead, you will oversee the strategy, planning and execution of major product launches on a worldwide scale. This role bridges innovation with implementation, ensuring that each launch meets the highest standards for quality, compliance, and market impact. You'll work across multiple time zones and geographies to build and sustain competitive advantage through flawless execution.

Core Duties

• Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive global launch strategies that align with corporate objectives
• Establish and enforce excellence standards across all launch initiatives, ensuring consistent quality and compliance
• Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning research, regulatory, manufacturing, commercial, and regional operations
• Manage launch timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to deliver measurable business outcomes
• Provide strategic oversight and mentorship to senior launch teams operating in different markets
• Monitor market dynamics and competitive landscape to optimise launch positioning and timing
• Develop and implement best practices in launch management to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior leadership roles, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare sectors
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-market product launches
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions
• Demonstrated excellence in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
• Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (working language)
• Degree qualification in a relevant discipline (science, business administration or equivalent professional experience)
