Role Overview

As Global Brand Lead at Takeda, you will own the strategic vision and execution of brand positioning, ensuring consistent and compelling market presence across regions and customer segments. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership to align marketing, clinical, commercial, and digital teams around a unified brand strategy that resonates with healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders worldwide. You'll translate complex therapeutic insights into clear, differentiated brand narratives that drive both market performance and organizational reputation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive global brand strategies that drive awareness, preference, and market share among target audiences
• Lead cross-functional teams to align brand positioning, messaging, and creative execution across all markets and channels
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform brand evolution and innovation
• Oversee brand performance metrics, analytics, and ROI to demonstrate value and guide ongoing optimization
• Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence while maintaining brand integrity across all communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or related field
• Eight or more years of progressive brand management, marketing leadership, or related experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer healthcare
• Proven track record developing and executing successful global brand strategies that delivered measurable business results
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and translate findings into actionable strategy
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners
• Experience managing diverse, geographically distributed teams
