Sr. Product Manager – HVAC

Wattswater is hiring a Senior Product Manager for HVAC in No. Andover, MA. In this full-time role, you'll own the product strategy and roadmap for our HVAC solutions, leading market innovation and driving customer success across the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry.

Role Overview

As Senior Product Manager—HVAC at Wattswater, you'll define the future of our heating and cooling product portfolio. You'll work directly with engineering, sales, and customer success teams to develop HVAC systems that address real-world climate control challenges. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance technical complexity with market opportunity, translating customer needs into products that contractors and building professionals rely on daily.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the product vision and multi-year strategy for HVAC product lines
• Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer feedback to inform development priorities
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to define feature scope, manage technical trade-offs, and ensure delivery timelines
• Partner with sales and marketing to build go-to-market strategies and establish product positioning
• Conduct customer interviews and user research to validate assumptions and identify new opportunities in HVAC markets
• Track product metrics and KPIs; use data-driven insights to guide roadmap decisions and iteration cycles

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in HVAC, building systems, mechanical equipment, or industrial B2B sectors
• Demonstrated track record of developing and executing product strategies that drive revenue growth and market share
• Strong technical foundation with ability to engage meaningfully with engineering teams and evaluate system design decisions
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder communication capabilities
• Proficiency with product analytics, customer research methods, and quantitative decision-making frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related discipline
