AI Security (Senior) Consultant (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity consulting organization seeking an AI Security Consultant or Senior Consultant to join their team in München. Our client helps organizations navigate the intersection of artificial intelligence and security, focusing on safe AI implementation, risk assessment, and strategic advisory services. This role offers genuine ownership from day one and clear progression in a growing practice area.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, organizational structures, and technical systems to identify optimization opportunities through AI implementation
• Advise clients on secure introduction and deployment of AI solutions, helping them assess opportunities and risks realistically
• Develop tailored AI strategies for business units to improve cybersecurity effectiveness and efficiency
• Support or lead project and program management for client engagements (leadership responsibilities increase at senior level)
• Design, organize, and facilitate workshops, assessments, and training sessions on AI security topics including risk assessment and secure use of generative AI
• Prepare reporting materials, management presentations, and decision-making documents for stakeholders at all levels
• Develop practical concepts and guidelines for securing AI applications
• Coordinate project stakeholders, manage transparency around progress and risks, and serve as the interface between business units, IT, and security teams
• Monitor market and technology trends in AI security and translate insights into actionable client recommendations

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration, informatics, business informatics, technical, scientific, mathematical, or related discipline
• 1–2 years professional experience for Consultant level or 2–5 years for Senior Consultant level
• Strong interest in secure AI development, safe use of AI applications, or leveraging AI to enhance cybersecurity
• Structured and pragmatic working style with ability to quickly master new topics
• Team-oriented, motivated, performance-driven, flexible, communicative, and proactive approach
• Comfort with technical concepts and ability to bridge development and management perspectives
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Outlook and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both)

Additional requirements at senior level:

• Demonstrated expertise in secure AI development, safe AI application use, or AI-enhanced cybersecurity
• Solid knowledge of modern project management methodologies
• Understanding of business processes in IT and cybersecurity with experience designing, implementing, analyzing, and optimizing them
• Analytical and visionary thinking combined with excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Confidence in presenting complex technical concepts to clients and facilitating strategic discussions
• Track record building long-term client relationships and driving innovative solutions
