About the Role

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll own the end-to-end sales process for merchant accounts. You'll identify qualified prospects, build relationships with decision-makers, and guide them through the onboarding process. This role blends new business development with account management, requiring both hunting instincts and account stewardship skills. Working remotely from Marble Falls or anywhere in your territory, you'll be the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a smooth transition to partnership and consistent value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify potential merchant accounts aligned with Xplor's target markets
• Conduct product demonstrations and build compelling business cases for prospects
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract closure
• Onboard new merchants and ensure successful activation of their accounts
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with assigned accounts post-sale
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Maintain accurate records and forecasting in our CRM system
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive mutual goals

Requirements

• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in merchant services, SaaS, or platform environments
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets
• Comfort learning new software and adapting to a fast-paced environment
