Account Executive

Xplor is hiring a full-time remote Account Executive to drive revenue growth and build long-term partnerships with merchants in the Amarillo, TX area and beyond. This is your opportunity to represent a leading merchant services and payment technology company while working flexibly from home.

Position Summary

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll own the complete sales lifecycle—from prospecting and needs analysis to closing deals and onboarding merchants. You'll partner with business owners, restaurant operators, and retail managers across diverse industries, selling integrated payment solutions and management software designed to streamline their operations. Your success directly impacts our merchant partners' ability to grow and thrive.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new merchant accounts through outbound prospecting, referrals, and inbound leads
• Conduct discovery calls and product demos to understand each prospect's unique business challenges and payment needs
• Develop compelling business cases and prepare proposal presentations tailored to each merchant's situation
• Negotiate contract terms and drive deals through closing
• Collaborate with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth merchant onboarding and activation
• Maintain and expand existing merchant relationships to maximize lifetime value and identify growth opportunities
• Track sales activity, forecast your pipeline, and report on key metrics within our CRM systems

Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in payments, merchant services, or SaaS solutions
• Proven ability to build genuine rapport and close deals with small and mid-market business owners
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate value clearly
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of exceeding sales targets
• Proficiency with CRM software and comfort learning new sales technology tools
• Ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote environment
• Problem-solving mindset and flexibility to adapt to evolving client needs
