Account Executive

Xplor is seeking a full-time Account Executive to join our Merchant Sales team in Pflugerville, TX. This is a remote position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving sales growth for our merchant solutions.

What This Role Involves

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll own the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with merchants and business partners, understanding their unique needs, and positioning our platform solutions as their competitive advantage. You'll work collaboratively with our sales engineering and customer success teams to ensure clients see immediate value from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline using CRM tools and consultative selling techniques
• Identify, qualify, and pursue merchant prospects aligned with target market segments
• Conduct product demonstrations and present tailored solutions that address customer pain points
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining profitability and margin standards
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline data throughout the sales process
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success to optimize the prospect-to-customer handoff
• Achieve quarterly sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally in software, payments, or merchant services
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover and address customer needs
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales productivity tools
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player
