Join Xplor as an Account Executive for a remote, full-time opportunity. We're looking for a driven sales professional to build lasting partnerships with merchants and grow our customer base through direct sales and activation.

Role Overview

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll be at the heart of our sales organization, responsible for identifying promising prospects, building relationships with business owners, and closing deals that matter. This fully remote position allows you to manage your own territory and work independently, directly impacting company revenue. You'll combine sales strategy with merchant activation expertise to help businesses discover the value of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, qualify, and pursue new merchant accounts through prospecting, cold outreach, and territory management
  • Conduct product presentations and demos tailored to each prospect's specific business needs
  • Negotiate contracts, close sales, and meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Guide new customers through onboarding and activation to ensure successful implementation
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions and opportunities in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and customer success teams to solve challenges and drive retention
  • Stay informed about product capabilities, competitive landscape, and market trends in your territory

What We're Looking For

  • Proven sales experience closing deals in B2B environments, ideally in merchant services, payments, SaaS, or similar industries
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and managing accounts throughout their lifecycle
  • Strong ability to understand customer business models and translate that into compelling value propositions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems; experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet key customers or attend company events, where applicable
