Position Summary

Join Wabtec as Lead Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist in a full-time role based in Shanghai, SD, CN. You'll direct supplier quality initiatives, engineering oversight, and continuous improvement programs that safeguard our products and strengthen our supply chain partnerships. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute supplier quality strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Perform comprehensive supplier audits, assessments, and quality evaluations to verify compliance
• Lead corrective action programs and drive measurable quality improvements with suppliers
• Analyze supplier performance data and quality metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Partner with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to resolve quality issues effectively
• Establish quality systems, controls, and best practices across the supplier base
• Coach and develop quality team members and build supplier capabilities

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated leadership experience in supplier quality engineering or quality assurance
• Deep understanding of quality management systems, standards, and tools (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean)
• Proven ability to conduct audits, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and metrics-driven decision-making
• Excellent collaboration and communication capabilities across functions and cultures
• Technical problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline preferred
