About the Role
As a Hardware Developer within our PS-SB Projects team at Bosch Group's Bengaluru engineering hub, you'll take ownership of hardware development from concept through production. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge embedded systems, electronics design, and hardware validation—contributing directly to products used by millions globally.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and embedded systems for automotive and industrial applications
- Conduct component selection, evaluation, and supplier management to meet performance and cost requirements
- Perform simulation, prototyping, and hardware testing to validate designs and troubleshoot technical issues
- Collaborate with firmware, software, and systems engineering teams to integrate hardware with complete technology stacks
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and validation reports
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Proven hands-on experience in hardware design and embedded systems development
- Proficiency with circuit design tools, schematic capture software, and PCB design applications
- Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, digital logic, and analogue electronics
- Experience with hardware validation, testing, and debugging methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
