About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential defense technology organization in Rotenburg seeking a Senior Project Coordinator / PMO (m/w/d). Our client works directly with armed forces, government agencies, and critical infrastructure operators on mission-critical projects. This is a hands-on operational role supporting strategic project leadership in a fast-paced, international environment where your coordination makes a tangible difference.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational project steering, tracking deadlines, dependencies, and priorities across complex initiatives
• Follow up systematically on work packages, deliverables, deadlines, and commitments to ensure discussions translate into concrete outcomes
• Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal project managers, external partners, and suppliers
• Prepare project reports, status updates, KPI dashboards, presentations, and decision documents for project leadership
• Consolidate information from multiple sources into coherent, actionable overviews
• Support procurement activities including market research, supplier identification, and tracking partner/vendor relationships
• Build and maintain project documentation structures ensuring information remains accessible and traceable

What We're Looking For

• Commercial or technical education, or degree in business, project management, industrial engineering, international management, security management, or similar; military background with project, staff, or coordination experience is advantageous
• Proven experience in project management, project coordination, or comparable project-focused roles
• Hands-on experience with reporting, status tracking, KPI monitoring, or preparing management information
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable with project management tools and digital collaboration platforms
• Basic understanding of procurement, supply chain, contract management, and supplier relationships
• German language: very good; English: fluent negotiation level
• Experience in defense technology environments or military background preferred
• Working style: independent, structured, reliable; you maintain oversight even when priorities shift and drive topics consistently to completion
