Sales Engineer (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS company in the enterprise AI space, and we're looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team in Munich. In this role, you won't just support sales conversations—you'll be the technical architect who makes enterprise deals undeniable by building proof-of-concepts, custom integrations, and live demonstrations that prove real-world value.

This is a high-ownership, customer-facing position where your technical work directly influences revenue and product direction.

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and custom extensions that demonstrate product value to enterprise customers
• Configure and adapt the platform to match customer workflows and existing enterprise systems
• Lead technical deep dives, live demos, and workshops with procurement teams, IT departments, and enterprise architecture stakeholders
• Travel to customer sites for workshops and technical sessions (1–2 times per week)
• Translate recurring customer requirements into scalable product features and communicate them to Product and Engineering teams
• Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and leadership as the technical owner of deal success

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with SaaS systems, APIs, cloud architectures, and data-driven applications
• Ability to build, extend, or integrate software using technologies such as Python/FastAPI, React/TypeScript, REST APIs, MongoDB, or similar stacks
• Comfort working within enterprise IT environments and cloud platforms (experience with Azure is a plus)
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Preference for shipping working software and solutions over creating presentations
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort engaging with customers and C-level stakeholders
• Fluency in English and German is expected given the Munich location and enterprise customer base
