System Engineer

Wabtec is seeking a System Engineer to join our team in Suzhou, JS, CN. In this full-time role, you will design, deploy, and maintain the systems infrastructure that powers our operations, working alongside engineers and stakeholders to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability across our technical environment.

Position Summary

As a System Engineer at Wabtec in Suzhou, you will take ownership of system architecture, infrastructure deployment, and operational excellence. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and sustain robust systems that support business growth, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and implement solutions that enhance system performance and uptime.

What You'll Do

• Design and deploy system infrastructure solutions aligned with company needs and industry best practices
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and capacity to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Implement automation and tools to streamline system operations and reduce manual workload
• Collaborate with development, network, and security teams to integrate systems across the organization
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge continuity
• Provide technical support and guidance to teams relying on your systems infrastructure
