Patient Onboarding Associate- Call Center (part time hours)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Part-Time Patient Onboarding Associate to join their remote call center operations. This role offers consistent scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care coordination.

As the first point of contact for patients, you'll manage incoming calls, schedule appointments with healthcare providers, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Important: Due to our client's payroll requirements, candidates must reside in one of these states: AR, KY, MS, SC, Norfolk VA, Virginia Beach VA, WV, AL, FL, GA, ID, MI, MO, IN, NJ, OH, TX (except Houston), TN, or WI. Candidates living within 50 miles of the Nashville office do not qualify for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails, providing empathetic and solution-focused patient support
• Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and provider communications
• Accurately collect and document patient demographics, medical history, insurance details, and appointment information
• Navigate multiple software systems simultaneously while performing data entry and guiding patients
• Maintain productivity, quality standards, and schedule adherence in a remote work environment
• Adapt quickly to changing processes, technology updates, and business priorities
• Maintain a distraction-free home workspace with reliable high-speed internet and backup connectivity

What We're Looking For

• Required: 1+ year of office administration experience
• Preferred: 1+ year of call center or high-volume phone experience
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with Google Suite
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction
• Reliable high-speed internet with a backup option for uninterrupted connectivity
• Ability to perform extended computer-based work across multiple monitors and applications

Available Shifts (Part-Time):

• Shift 1: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–7:00 PM EST / 2:00 PM–6:00 PM CST / 12:00 PM–4:00 PM PST
• Shift 2: Tuesday–Saturday | Weekdays 1:00 PM–5:00 PM EST / 12:00 PM–4:00 PM CST / 10:00 AM–2:00 PM PST; Saturday same hours
