IT Service Manager / Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential managed service provider in Dortmund, Germany, seeking an IT Service Manager / Senior Consultant to join their growing team. In this position, you will ensure clients receive agreed-upon services reliably while driving continuous improvement and strategic development of customer relationships. You'll manage service delivery according to SLAs, conduct regular reviews, and design solutions from concept through implementation.

This is a full-time or part-time opportunity with flexibility for remote work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SLA-compliant delivery of IT services, including monitoring, reporting, and escalation management
• Serve as the primary strategic and technical contact for clients regarding IT service evolution, processes, and infrastructure
• Conduct regular service reviews and steering meetings, deriving and tracking improvement measures
• Design and shape solution approaches for customer projects, including requirements analysis and decision templates
• Coordinate internal teams and external service providers
• Maintain and develop the service catalog, contributing to contract and service description design
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to colleagues

What We're Looking For

• Completed training in IT (Fachinformatik) or degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics
• Experience with ITIL processes; certification is a plus
• Several years of experience in IT service management or IT project leadership within an MSP or IT service environment
• Strong technical understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, networks, and security solutions
• Experience coordinating projects such as rollouts, migrations, and cloud initiatives
• Fluent German and good English language skills
• Ability to work independently with strategic thinking and customer focus

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive within the German MSP market, including performance-based components.
