About This Role
We are representing a confidential technology organization based in Osnabrück, Germany, seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to strengthen their Cloud & Platform Engineering function. This is a hybrid position requiring two days on-site per week.
Our client operates modern, multi-cloud environments and needs a hands-on engineer who thrives on automation, infrastructure-as-code, and continuous improvement of development and production systems.
Responsibilities
- Automate provisioning of Azure and AWS environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
- Operate and enhance Kubernetes-based container platforms, particularly OKD/OpenShift and Docker
- Manage and optimise multi-cloud environments for availability, performance, scalability and security
- Plan and execute deployments, updates and releases with minimal downtime
- Analyse and resolve performance and infrastructure issues across cloud platforms
- Develop standards for automation, monitoring and secure operations
- Document cloud landscapes, deployments and operational processes
- Participate in an on-call rotation after appropriate onboarding
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of professional DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or another public cloud platform
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and OKD/OpenShift
- Experience with Docker and containerised environments
- Solid Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
- Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment/release processes
- German language skills at B2 level or above
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: €50,000–€62,000 gross per annum, plus on-call allowance.
