Product Owner – Communications Channels & AI

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential audio branding and communications organization seeking a Product Owner to lead their technical product portfolio, including Cloud Telephony, AI Receptionist, and Contact Center solutions.

In this role, you will own the strategy, design, and performance of technical communication products. You'll translate client needs and technology capabilities into scalable product offerings that drive adoption and retention. Through H2 2026, you will lead the evolution of the technical product portfolio by unifying product performance, platform capability, roadmap execution, and commercial discipline into a coherent improvement agenda.

Your core accountability includes:

• Setting clear, prioritized roadmaps that balance client value, technical feasibility, commercial return, and operational capacity
• Defining product standards, service models, and client journeys for consistent execution across customer success and technical production teams
• Making deliberate build, buy, and partner decisions with commercial discipline
• Leading AI Receptionist growth across horizontal capabilities and vertical use cases
• Managing reseller partnerships with clear pricing, service, and margin controls

Strategic and operational delivery:

• Define client experiences across onboarding, configuration, usage, and renewal phases
• Establish how clients access and understand product value through portal interfaces, including call flows and usage analytics
• Own commercial logic including pricing, cost-to-serve, gross margin, and investment cases
• Work with technical and production teams to define SLAs, runbooks, and support models
• Ensure operational readiness before launching new capabilities, including client communications and support routes
• Maintain governance for launch decisions, technical dependencies, and escalations

Insight and continuous improvement:

• Track product performance across adoption, usage, NPS, retention, revenue, and operational metrics
• Build feedback loops with customer success, sales, and technical teams to identify problems worth solving
• Convert recurring issues into permanent product, process, or service-model improvements
• Use performance data to make early decisions before issues become retention or margin risks

What We're Looking For

Essential experience and skills:

• Proven product ownership experience with technical or cloud-based communication products
• Strong understanding of telephony systems, AI-powered solutions, and contact center technologies
• Demonstrated ability to translate client needs and technology capabilities into scalable product strategies
• Commercial acumen with experience managing pricing, margins, and investment cases
• Experience working with partner ecosystems and reseller models
• Strong analytical skills with ability to use data to drive product decisions

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £80,000 OTE

Location: Manchester, England - Monday to Friday, 8:45am-5:15pm
