Service Desk Mitarbeiter (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential IT services organization seeking a Service Desk professional to join their technical support team in Düsseldorf. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, working alongside experienced support engineers to resolve technical issues across diverse IT environments.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and processing support requests via telephone, email, and ticketing systems
• Supporting clients with technical problems and questions across various IT infrastructures
• Analyzing and documenting technical incidents and disruptions
• Resolving standard issues within Microsoft environments
• Supporting the administration of Microsoft and cloud platforms
• Collaborating with System Engineers on more complex technical matters
• Working according to defined processes and quality standards

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed IT vocational training or equivalent practical experience
• Initial professional experience in IT support or service desk environments
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems
• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or networking
• Enthusiasm for analyzing and troubleshooting technical problems
• Service-oriented and customer-focused mindset
• Independent and structured working approach
• Excellent German language skills and good English proficiency

Advantageous experience:

• Background in managed services provider or systems integrator environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune)
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Exposure to virtualization technologies (Hyper-V or VMware)
• ITIL knowledge or relevant certifications
• Class B driving license
