About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-established industrial electronics organization in the Ölbronn-Dürrn area. Our client specializes in advanced control systems and has been a trusted technology provider for over four decades. Due to continued expansion, our talent team is searching for an experienced Quality & Compliance Engineer to join their technical governance function.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of quality and compliance processes for sophisticated industrial control products, working across multidisciplinary engineering teams in a stable, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality and compliance governance for industrial radio remote control systems throughout the full product lifecycle
• Ensure adherence to relevant quality, safety, and regulatory requirements across all development phases
• Plan, coordinate, and support certification, approval, and audit activities with internal teams and external bodies
• Define, implement, and continuously improve quality, compliance, and development processes
• Manage and maintain quality and compliance documentation and evidence trails
• Analyze regulatory requirements and assess their impact on products and development workflows
• Support engineering teams with risk analyses, failure analyses, and quality-related technical questions
• Collaborate closely with systems engineering, software, electronics, RF, and mechanical development teams as well as external testing and certification organizations

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in quality and compliance roles for technical products, ideally in industrial or regulated environments
• Proven experience working with normative and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of mechatronic systems and embedded systems development processes
• Structured, analytical, and process-oriented working style
• Strong quality, safety, and responsibility mindset
• Team player with excellent cross-functional communication skills
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Technical Knowledge:

• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 13849, RED, CE, ETSI, CRA, or comparable)
• Understanding of development, quality, and release processes in industrial settings
• Experience with technical documentation, evidence management, and audit/certification processes
• Knowledge of risk analysis, failure analysis, and quality methodologies
• Understanding of hardware, software, and system development processes
• Experience with requirements, change, and documentation management is advantageous
