Virtual Assistant – eBay & Whatnot Listings

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client in the collectibles space who has built a thriving resale business over the past several years. Our client operates across multiple marketplace platforms and is expanding their operations team to keep pace with growth. We're seeking a Virtual Assistant to join their remote team and take ownership of the listing creation process.

Responsibilities

• Transform product photography into complete listing drafts across online marketplace platforms
• Research and populate accurate item details including title, brand, franchise, character information, and platform-specific fields using tools like Google Lens and competitor analysis
• Write standardized, search-optimized titles following the client's established style guidelines
• Build detailed marketplace listings with full category specifications and item attributes to maximize search visibility
• Create streamlined listings for secondary sales platforms with appropriate detail levels
• Prepare all listings in draft form for client review and final approval prior to publication
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across all listing content

What We're Looking For

• Experience navigating major marketplace listing tools and category/item-specific fields
• Strong research skills with ability to identify unfamiliar products using visual search tools and competitive analysis
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to learn and replicate standardized formats
• Comfort working with collectibles, toys, and licensed franchise products; enthusiasm to learn product lines
• Reliable turnaround on photo batches with same-day or next-day completion
• Self-directed work style suited to remote collaboration
• Availability starting at 10 hours per week with flexibility to scale to 20–30+ hours as business volume grows
