People Business Partner

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking an experienced People Business Partner to support their operations across the Western United States. This strategic human resources role partners with divisional leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and culture initiatives. The ideal candidate will reside in Mountain Standard or Pacific Standard Time Zones and bring deep expertise in HR strategy and business partnership.

Responsibilities

• Consult with business leaders on talent strategy, organizational development, leadership effectiveness, and workforce planning
• Direct the achievement of strategic and operational HR objectives across assigned business units
• Identify root causes of human resources challenges and shape programs and policies accordingly
• Benchmark marketplace trends and best practices to influence the business and HR agenda
• Drive company-wide initiatives including rewards and recognition programs, culture development, and organizational change
• Manage escalations and dispute resolutions through established programs and policies
• Triage team member concerns, ensure proper documentation, and coordinate with appropriate parties for resolution
• Provide guidance and coaching to operations leadership on pay practices and performance management
• Coordinate project management for performance administration, open enrollment, and other HR initiatives
• Partner with internal departments and external vendors to resolve employee issues and improve efficiency
• Respond to subpoenas and requests from external agencies as needed
• Track performance metrics for the HR function and recommend process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources highly preferred
• Five to seven years of HR experience, preferably including healthcare operations or back-office environments
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
• Strong strategic thinking and business partnership capabilities
• Proven ability to act as a change agent and trusted advisor to leadership teams
• Experience with organizational design, talent development, and workforce planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
• Ability to read and interpret business documents, technical procedures, and regulations
• Proficiency in presenting information effectively to leaders and external stakeholders
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
• Must reside in Mountain Standard or Pacific Standard Time Zones
