What This Role Involves

This role involves leading a team of 5 engineers focused on the unified computing platform that powers DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. You will be responsible for growing the team, shaping the roadmap, and ensuring the platform is reliable, performant, and easy to adopt across multiple platforms. The team works closely with product and platform partners to simplify backend development at scale.

Core Duties

• Grow the Computing Platform team by identifying and hiring top talent
• Shape the roadmap for the computing platform to support future growth and innovation
• Work closely with product and platform partners to ensure seamless integration and adoption of the platform across Wolt, Deliveroo, and DoorDash
• Ensure the platform is reliable, performant, and easy to adopt by continuously improving operational efficiency and reducing overhead for product teams
• Manage cross-functional collaboration and communication to drive successful project outcomes

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in engineering management with a proven track record of growing and leading high-performing technical teams
• Demonstrated success in shaping and executing strategic roadmaps for complex, mission-critical platforms
• Experience working on foundational computing platforms that support backend development at scale
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with product and platform partners across multiple organizations
• A deep understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building technology that brings joy, simplicity, and earnings to neighborhoods around the world
