Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential healthcare organization in Canada. We are seeking a Case Worker to support patient and provider programs, working directly with patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies to ensure access to care and treatment adherence.

This is a full-time position based in Canada, where you'll manage case files, provide telephone support, and administer protocols that help patients navigate funding, access programs, and ongoing therapy management.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned cases and projects while adhering to established protocols and procedures
• Provide telephone support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies regarding access issues, private and public programs, and compliance initiatives
• Administer case-management protocols including clinical monitoring, data collection, patient follow-up, therapy monitoring, and adverse event reporting
• Maintain regular communication with primary healthcare providers and coordinate care as needed
• Conduct outbound calls as a significant component of patient program support
• Document all activities accurately in program-specific databases
• Participate in ongoing training and specialized courses for specific programs
• Provide feedback on current processes and protocols to support continuous improvement
• Communicate clearly with management and colleagues regarding case management during absences
• Support training of new team members through shadowing and call monitoring
• Report all adverse events to appropriate departments promptly

What We're Looking For

Education:

• Two-year associate's degree or diploma in business administration, healthcare, or related field
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Experience:

• Minimum one year of customer service experience
• Background in medical or pharmaceutical settings is a strong asset

Skills:

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (required for some positions, an asset for others)
• Strong multitasking abilities and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism
