Senior BI Platform Engineer (Sigma Computing | Tableau | Power BI | Alteryx)

Rackspace is hiring a Senior BI Platform Engineer to lead business intelligence initiatives and design modern analytics solutions for a remote-based position available across India. About This Position

As a Senior BI Platform Engineer at Rackspace, you'll take ownership of enterprise business intelligence infrastructure and strategy. This is a full-time remote role based in India that combines technical depth with architectural responsibility, allowing you to work with world-class analytics tools and collaborate across global teams. Your expertise will shape how Rackspace leverages data to accelerate business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable BI platforms using Sigma Computing, Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx to support analytics across the organization
• Lead technical implementation of data visualization solutions and self-service analytics capabilities for business stakeholders
• Architect data pipelines and ETL workflows using Alteryx and other integration technologies to ensure clean, reliable data for reporting
• Mentor junior engineers on BI best practices, platform optimization, and emerging tools in the analytics ecosystem
• Collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, and business leaders to translate requirements into scalable platform solutions
• Optimize dashboard performance, data refresh cycles, and system reliability to support mission-critical reporting environments

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience with business intelligence platforms, with proven expertise in Tableau, Power BI, Sigma Computing, or Alteryx
• Strong foundation in SQL, data modeling, and warehouse architecture to support analytics at scale
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade BI solutions that serve multiple business units
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical teams in platform engineering or analytics contexts
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on building scalable, maintainable systems
