Product Manager, Membership & Payments

About This Role

We are representing a confidential social technology client in their search for a Product Manager to own critical membership and payments experiences. This is an opportunity to shape how users join, subscribe to, and engage with a platform built around authentic connection and community.

You will own key aspects of the member lifecycle—from onboarding and activation through subscription management, renewals, and reactivation. Payments sit at the center of this journey, and you'll be responsible for building seamless experiences across iOS in-app purchases and third-party payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end membership lifecycle including onboarding, activation, payments, subscriptions, and member reactivation
• Develop deep understanding of membership and payment funnels, using data to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and improve conversion and reliability
• Build and evolve payment experiences across Apple in-app purchases and third-party payment providers
• Proactively identify problems and opportunities across the member journey and drive them toward resolution with autonomy
• Own roadmap and execution for your product area, from problem definition and prioritization through launch and iteration
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, and data teams, creating clarity, making tradeoffs, and driving work forward

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of product management experience, including significant experience leading day-to-day work of cross-functional engineering teams
• Experience owning consumer subscription products and the funnels that drive activation, conversion, retention, or reactivation
• Deep production experience with Apple StoreKit payments and subscriptions for an iOS consumer product
• Production experience with third-party payments and subscriptions, ideally Stripe, for a B2C subscription product
• Strong technical and analytical fluency, including experience working with engineers on complex payment systems and using funnel data to diagnose problems and measure impact
• Proven ability to own complex products from strategy through detailed execution and consistently deliver on commitments
• Bias toward action, strong ownership mentality, and willingness to get deep into the details
• Based in or willing to work U.S. hours
