Inside Sales Learning & Development Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential medical device organization in their search for an Inside Sales Learning & Development Manager. Our client is a leader in women's healthcare solutions, serving medical providers across the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the professional development of a growing inside sales team.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive learning programs for inside sales representatives
• Develop onboarding curricula that accelerate time-to-productivity for new hires
• Create ongoing skills training focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement
• Assess individual and team development needs through performance analytics and coaching observations
• Partner with sales leadership to align training initiatives with business objectives and revenue goals
• Build certification programs and competency frameworks for inside sales roles
• Facilitate live training sessions, role-plays, and workshops both virtually and in-person
• Measure training effectiveness through KPIs including conversion rates, ramp time, and retention metrics
• Manage learning management systems and maintain training content libraries
• Stay current on adult learning methodologies and sales enablement best practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in learning and development, preferably within inside sales or medical device/healthcare sales environments
• Proven track record designing and implementing successful sales training programs
• Strong understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, and consultative selling techniques
• Experience with learning management systems and virtual training platforms
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
• Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze training ROI and adjust programs accordingly
• Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams
• Bachelor's degree required; additional certifications in instructional design or learning development preferred
• Ability to travel occasionally for in-person training sessions as needed
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
