About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential B2B SaaS organization seeking a Senior Events Marketing Manager to own the full lifecycle of their trade show, conference, and partner event portfolio. This is a remote position in the United States with approximately 15–20% travel for event execution.
In this high-impact individual contributor role, you'll be responsible for end-to-end event ownership—from strategic planning and budget management through on-site execution and post-event ROI analysis. You'll work closely with sales, marketing, and partnership teams to drive pipeline generation and brand visibility across industry conferences, association programs, and partner-sponsored activations.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of assigned events including trade shows, industry conferences, association programs, and partner activations from strategic planning through post-event analysis
- Develop event-level strategies aligned to pipeline, brand, and customer engagement goals with clear KPIs and success metrics
- Manage individual event budgets from forecasting through reconciliation, including vendor negotiations and accurate ROI reporting in Salesforce
- Execute all logistics including venue coordination, booth design and setup, vendor selection, equipment rentals, freight and shipping coordination, registration processes, and on-site staffing
- Build and manage relationships with industry associations, event organizers, and strategic partners
- Plan and execute partner-sponsored events including co-branded activations, regional field events, and joint conference participation
- Collaborate with the brand team to identify and secure strategic speaking opportunities and thought leadership placements
- Partner with sales teams to develop pre-event, on-site, and post-event engagement strategies
- Coordinate lead capture processes and ensure accurate, timely entry into Salesforce
- Serve as on-site lead for assigned events, ensuring seamless execution and professional brand representation
- Maintain detailed project timelines, execution checklists, inventory tracking systems, and contingency plans
- Document processes and continuously improve workflows to increase efficiency and scalability
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience managing B2B trade shows, conferences, association marketing programs, and/or partner events independently
- Proven ability to own events end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets and vendor negotiations
- Strong expertise in event logistics, freight coordination (including multi-stop shipments), and on-site execution
- Proficiency in Salesforce for lead tracking and ROI reporting
- Working knowledge of marketing and operations tools including HubSpot, Asana, Notion, Canva, and Google Workspace
- Experience working with event vendors such as Freeman
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfortable traveling and leading on-site event execution (approximately 15–20% travel)
