TEAMLEAD HSE-MANAGEMENT (M/W/D)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential HSE consulting organization serving energy and industrial sectors across Germany. As Teamlead HSE-Management, you will:

• Lead project delivery for one to two major client accounts, managing HSE personnel deployment, quality standards, and on-site performance
• Coordinate directly with client project leadership while actively working as an HSE Manager within projects
• Provide technical leadership for a team of 5–10 HSE Managers and SiGeKos, including deployment planning, quality oversight, and technical decision-making
• Onboard new team members in collaboration with People & Culture and internal training functions
• Coach and develop team members through ongoing mentoring and skills advancement
• Serve as escalation point for complex or sensitive matters involving clients and team
• Develop and refine safety concepts, processes, and standards for assigned projects
• Deliver regular reporting on project status, capacity planning, and team development
• Work with digital audit, hazard identification, risk assessment, and performance monitoring tools, including AI-supported analysis systems

What We're Looking For

• Qualification as Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) per § 6 ASiG
• Minimum five years of workplace safety experience on industrial construction sites or facilities
• Multiple years of leadership experience (technical or disciplinary) managing HSE teams
• Strong communication skills—able to engage effectively with site workers and executive project leadership alike, and manage conflict constructively
• High degree of personal accountability, entrepreneurial mindset, and structured work approach
• German at negotiation level; English proficiency in speaking and writing (many projects conducted in English)
• Willingness to travel for project assignments and site visits; valid Class B driver's license
• Advantageous: SiGeKo qualification per RAB 30, degree in safety engineering or related engineering discipline, GWO or SCC certifications

Pay

This role offers an annual base salary from €60,000 gross depending on experience and scope of responsibility, plus performance bonus. Benefits include company vehicle (also for private use), permanent contract, occupational pension with employer contribution, supplemental private insurance, and e-bike leasing. Pay is provided by the client organization upon hire.
