Freelance Toon Boom Animator-YouTube Studio

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential digital media studio with millions of subscribers across multiple platforms. This freelance role focuses on cutout and rigged character animation for video content targeting younger audiences. We're seeking experienced Toon Boom Harmony animators who can deliver high-quality work on tight production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Produce approximately 25 shots or 2.5 minutes of animation per production week
• Execute expert-level cutout and rigged character animation in Toon Boom Harmony
• Navigate and utilize Toon Boom's node view and tool systems effectively
• Perform light compositing work including lighting and basic effects in Harmony
• Complete revisions by deadlines set by the animation lead
• Create animation assets, character poses, and drawing substitutions with strong draftsmanship
• Perform simple to moderate frame-by-frame and hand animation as needed
• Maintain an organized workflow that balances quality with production output requirements

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Toon Boom Harmony (required)
• 1+ years of studio production experience
• Ability to adapt animation style to match various visual approaches
• Strong understanding of animation fundamentals and principles
• Excellent draftsmanship skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interpret storyboard notes
• Proven ability to meet daily quotas and production deadlines consistently
• Detail-oriented approach with focus on maintaining visual consistency
• Collaborative team player who works well in remote production environments
• Demo reel or portfolio showcasing relevant Toon Boom Harmony work (required for consideration)
• Artists with LLCs are preferred but not required

Pay
