Early Childhood Education Instructor-MMCO

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential education organization seeking an Early Childhood Education Instructor to deliver high-quality online instruction to students pursuing careers in early childhood education. Our client is committed to student-centered learning and academic excellence in career-focused programs.

This is a remote position based in the United States, offering the flexibility to teach online while making a meaningful impact on students' educational and career journeys.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online classroom and lab instruction using sound educational practices and student assessment mechanisms
• Ensure students are presented with all materials necessary to successfully meet learning objectives for each course
• Prepare and maintain instructional materials and equipment to ensure readiness for student use
• Participate in ongoing faculty assessment and professional development activities to maintain current, engaged teaching practices
• Attend meetings, analyze assessment data, compile reports, and meet academic and administrative deadlines
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory guidelines as well as internal policies
• Provide tutoring, support, and additional assistance to students as needed
• Model professional behavior and ethical conduct in all interactions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, or a master's degree with a minimum of 18 semester/24 quarter graduate credit hours in ECE or a related field
• Four years of practical experience in the early childhood education field
• Documented prior teaching experience, or willingness to complete new instructor training before beginning to teach
• Strong computer software skills including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated success collaborating with diverse groups
• Ability to work in an observation/coaching style environment
• Capability to prioritize tasks, accept responsibility, and work within deadlines
• Superior organizational and problem-resolution skills
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude with the highest levels of integrity
• Ability to meet institutional and accreditation standards for instructors

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching in a proprietary education setting
• Knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation regulations applicable to the proprietary education industry

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
• Standard vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
