AI Engineer (Technical Product Owner)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing e-commerce organization that operates multiple direct-to-consumer brands with significant annual revenue. Our client is building proprietary AI infrastructure to automate creative and analytical workflows, with plans to scale these internal tools into B2B SaaS products. They're seeking an AI Engineer who can rapidly prototype and deploy AI-driven systems across multiple domains.

This is a founding-level technical role working directly with leadership to design, build, and iterate on AI systems spanning computer vision, image manipulation, automated video generation, and agentic data analysis. You'll own the full pipeline from R&D to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI systems using the latest models and frameworks, from initial prototype to production deployment
• Develop full-stack applications that orchestrate multiple AI models into complex autonomous workflows
• Work across different AI domains including LLMs (text/reasoning), diffusion models (image/video), and computer vision
• Build lean MVPs for real-world testing in e-commerce operations, then refine for scale
• Integrate diverse APIs and services to create seamless automated systems
• Rapidly prototype solutions using AI-assisted development tools to deliver functional systems in days
• Transition internal tools into scalable SaaS products as the product portfolio evolves

What We're Looking For

• AI-native development approach: Power user of AI-assisted coding tools (GPT Codex, Claude, Replit) who can build at 10x pace
• Cross-domain AI expertise: Comfortable working with LLMs, diffusion models, and vision systems
• Technical stack proficiency: Experience with Next.js and Python (FastAPI)
• AI frameworks knowledge: Hands-on with ComfyUI/Diffusers, IP-Adapters, ControlNet, and agentic frameworks (LangChain/CrewAI)
• Infrastructure experience: Familiarity with serverless GPU providers (Replicate, Fal, RunPod)
• Agile learner: Ability to master new AI frameworks or APIs quickly
• Hacker mindset: Focus on ROI, building lean solutions that deliver immediate business value
• Architectural understanding: Know how to design and orchestrate multi-model agentic workflows
• Availability: Must overlap at least 5 hours with Eastern European Time (EET - UTC+2/UTC+3) working hours

Compensation & Benefits

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €2,000–€3,000 monthly after taxes, based on skills and experience.
