Design Verification Engineer – Fully Remote | Upto $175/hr

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization in their search for a Design Verification Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis. This is a contract position with competitive hourly compensation, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital chip design and verification projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate digital chip design workflows to support advanced technical initiatives
• Design and verify RTL components using Verilog and SystemVerilog
• Collaborate with architecture, verification, and implementation teams to optimize design outputs
• Develop reusable verification components and testbench infrastructure
• Utilize modern tools and methodologies to accelerate chip design and verification processes
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines in a remote environment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 3–10 years of experience in digital RTL design or design verification
• Strong proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and UVM
• Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals including FSMs, datapaths, pipelines, FIFOs, arbiters, clock/reset domains, and bus protocols
• Experience with ASIC design flows and common EDA tools
• Ability to write clear design documentation and communicate technical tradeoffs effectively

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB)
• Background in CPU, GPU/ML accelerator, networking, memory subsystem, PCIe/high-speed IO, SoC interconnect, or low-power design
• Exposure to formal verification or SV/UVM-based design verification methodologies

Position Details:

• Contract role, 40 hours per week
• Duration: 3+ months
• Fully remote within the United States
• Start date: Week of April 23rd; applications reviewed on a rolling basis
