Frontend Engineer

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI-native productivity software company based in the United States. This organization is building next-generation applications that integrate intelligence directly into everyday workflows like messaging, note-taking, calendaring, and document editing.

We're seeking a Frontend Engineer to build core web experiences that millions of users will rely on daily. You'll own complex, highly interactive product surfaces from architecture through implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build major web experiences across chat, notes, calendar, documents, and spreadsheet applications
• Develop complex interactions including real-time messaging, collaborative editing, rich-text editing, scheduling interfaces, and data tables
• Create reusable frontend architecture and component systems that maintain consistency across multiple applications
• Integrate streaming AI responses and model-driven experiences directly into product workflows
• Own frontend performance, responsiveness, reliability, and accessibility across browsers and devices
• Collaborate with product and design teams to take concepts from prototype to production rapidly
• Ensure complex interactions like group messaging, collaborative editing, and scheduling feel fast and reliable

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience building complex, production web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, browser APIs, and performance optimization
• Experience building highly interactive products such as chat applications, collaboration tools, productivity software, document editors, calendars, or workspace platforms
• Hands-on experience with real-time systems, WebSockets, streaming APIs, or collaborative interfaces
• Strong product and UI judgment with attention to interaction details
• Ability to independently own features from technical design through production deployment
• Experience with TypeScript, React.js/Next.js, HTML/CSS, REST/GraphQL APIs, and Node.js
• Familiarity with WebSockets and streaming API implementations
