Position Summary
We're seeking a reliable Class A Driver to transport freight and cargo safely and efficiently throughout the Atlanta, Georgia area. This full-time, non-exempt position offers consistent work and the stability of driving for an established food logistics company. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their products on time while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle operation and customer service.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely in compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Inspect vehicles before, during, and after trips to ensure proper function and safety
- Transport freight and goods to designated locations on schedule
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Follow established routes while remaining flexible to handle unexpected changes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to company safety policies
What You Bring
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving history
- Proven experience operating commercial vehicles
