Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a well-established infrastructure manufacturing organization in their search for a Regional Sales Manager. This client specializes in engineered steel and concrete structural products serving the utility and energy sectors across North America. This is a strategic sales leadership role managing a designated geographic territory with full responsibility for pricing strategy, revenue targets, and customer relationship development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with market development leadership to establish sales targets and quarterly goals for your assigned region
- Partner with marketing to prioritize outreach activities and campaign focus areas within your territory
- Develop and manage customer-specific sales budgets and forecasting models
- Create and execute comprehensive sales plans that deliver volume and revenue objectives
- Manage key utility industry accounts in a direct sales capacity, serving as primary relationship owner
- Coordinate daily with cross-functional teams including project management, engineering, estimating, and operations to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain master project schedules for major accounts and conduct regular stakeholder meetings to review milestones and progress
- Prepare contract renewal and extension proposals for assigned accounts
- Gather customer forecasting data and work with production scheduling teams to allocate manufacturing capacity across multiple facilities
- Identify value-add opportunities including design optimization, specification improvements, and customer education initiatives
- Support external sales representatives in expanding market penetration
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of sales and marketing experience in steel structures, infrastructure products, or related industrial sectors
- Technical sales background combined with engineering project management experience, specifically within an engineer-to-order manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop presentations for diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven track record of building and maintaining strategic customer relationships
- Ability to travel 25% to 50% of the time
- Located in the United States
