Account Executive / Business Development Executive

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential staffing organization seeking an Account Executive / Business Development Executive to join their team remotely from Bogotá, Colombia. This is a full-time independent contractor position where you'll drive outbound business development efforts targeting U.S.-based clients, generate qualified opportunities, and build relationships that directly impact pipeline growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective U.S.-based clients through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting
• Build and manage targeted prospect lists aligned with ideal customer profiles and go-to-market strategy
• Conduct cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other channels to generate qualified business opportunities
• Qualify leads and schedule meetings with decision-makers and key stakeholders for senior leadership
• Maintain consistent follow-up communication with prospects to nurture interest and advance opportunities through the pipeline
• Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach messaging, positioning, and business development strategies
• Track outreach activity, pipeline progress, and meeting performance using CRM and sales engagement tools

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development, sales development, account executive, or lead generation roles targeting U.S. clients
• Strong track record booking meetings and generating qualified opportunities for senior sales leadership
• Experience building and executing outbound go-to-market or prospecting strategies
• Fluent English communication skills with excellent verbal and written presentation abilities
• Confidence engaging senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers in the U.S. market
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Based in Bogotá, Colombia

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within the nearshoring, recruitment, staffing, or talent acquisition industries
• Familiarity with CRM and outbound sales tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms
• Existing network or prior experience working with U.S.-based companies and executives
• Experience supporting founder-led or executive-led sales processes

Pay

This is a full-time independent contractor position. Compensation includes a base salary of 1,500 USD per month plus commission structure.
