Process/Manufacturing Automation Engineer

Valeo is hiring a Process/Manufacturing Automation Engineer for our facility in Queretaro. This full-time position is ideal for an engineer passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes and implementing automation solutions that drive efficiency and quality.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and engineer automation solutions for manufacturing processes, including feasibility studies and technical specifications
• Collaborate with production teams to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process optimization and automation
• Develop control systems, workflows, and programming logic for automated equipment and production lines
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure consistent performance and uptime
• Conduct testing and validation of new automation implementations before full-scale deployment
• Document processes, systems, and technical specifications for future reference and continuous improvement
• Support production teams in training and problem-solving related to automated equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience designing or implementing manufacturing automation and process control systems
• Strong knowledge of automation hardware, PLC programming, and industrial control systems
• Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams
• Spanish and English language proficiency
