About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clean energy organization in München that is scaling its B2B eCommerce operations. Our talent team is seeking a Senior eCommerce Manager to drive strategic growth of their online platform serving electricians, solar installers, and resellers across Europe.

This is a high-impact role where you'll own the full digital commerce strategy—from platform optimization and marketplace management to partner network development and data-driven campaign execution. You'll work at the intersection of sustainable technology and digital commerce, helping trade professionals access innovative products through seamless online experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic and operational management of the B2B online platform, including UX optimization, shop system functionality, payment integration, and system interfaces
  • Build and manage a sustainable network of installation partners to support the distribution strategy
  • Execute and analyze onpage sales initiatives and marketing campaigns (affiliate marketing, email marketing) to maximize revenue, effectiveness, and profitability
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, average order value, and returns with data-driven insights
  • Manage comprehensive product listing, optimization, and performance across major marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with product management, key account sales, IT, and logistics teams
  • Track market and competitive developments to identify emerging trends and opportunities

What We're Looking For

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
  • Minimum five years of relevant eCommerce experience, ideally in B2B environments
  • Strong knowledge of common ERP, CMS, and shop systems (e.g., Shopify, Shopware, Magento) and marketplace platforms
  • Affinity for technology sectors such as electric mobility or renewable energy and their product ecosystems
  • Proven experience with KPI analysis and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Confident use of online marketing channels and tools (SEO/GEO, affiliate marketing, SEA)
  • Solid knowledge of common AI tools and large language models
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution mentality
  • Self-directed work style with excellent communication skills
  • Very good English skills, written and spoken; German proficiency required for this München-based role
