Senior Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential DevOps platform company seeking a Senior Sales Engineer based in Paris. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between our client's sales team and prospective customers throughout the evaluation and sales cycle.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering compelling product demonstrations that clearly communicate technical value and business outcomes
• Managing the technical evaluation stage of complex enterprise sales processes
• Working directly with customers to troubleshoot issues and prove solution value
• Representing the platform at field events, conferences, and customer seminars
• Responding to technical and functional elements of RFIs and RFPs
• Translating customer requirements and feedback to internal engineering teams
• Staying current on platform capabilities, features, and industry developments
• Collaborating with account executives to develop winning technical strategies

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings strong technical credibility combined with excellent communication skills:

• Active software development experience or substantial background as a developer, or prior work in a DevOps engineering capacity
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge with hands-on experience using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Demonstrated ability to deliver world-class technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Track record of tying business problems to technical solutions at executive, business, and technical levels
• Experience articulating complex technology value propositions to diverse audiences
• Ability to debug common technical issues in customer environments
• Willingness to travel throughout the sales territory with minimal restrictions, occasionally on short notice
• Location within commuting distance to Paris is required
• Fluency in French and English preferred for this market
