We are representing a confidential technology organization in Berlin that is seeking an experienced Team Lead IT Infrastructure & IT Operations. Responsibilities

• Leadership & Operations: Lead the IT Infrastructure & Operations team, manage infrastructure projects and external partners, and ensure efficient, scalable processes that support business growth
• Network & Infrastructure: Own stable, highly available infrastructure across multiple locations; continuously evolve network, data center, and connectivity strategies
• Security, Governance & Identity: Develop and implement security, identity, and access management concepts that align with organizational structures, risk assessments, and governance requirements
• Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace: Drive evolution of Microsoft 365 and identity platforms, ensuring secure, efficient collaboration, device management, and access control solutions
• Collaboration & Messaging: Manage communication and collaboration platforms while implementing governance, compliance, and archiving requirements
• Server, Storage & Virtualization: Ensure reliable operation and strategic development of server, storage, and Linux-based virtualization platforms
• Backup, Monitoring & Standards: Own backup, recovery, and monitoring concepts; establish operational and security standards that ensure transparency, stability, and continuous service improvement

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent technical education
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure, System Engineering, or IT Operations in comparable enterprise environments
• Proven experience leading technical teams (functional or disciplinary) and managing IT projects and service providers
• Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure, networking, security, identity, and modern workplace solutions
• Fluent German and English skills (minimum B2 level)
