(Senior) Project Manager (m/w/d) – Rooftop PV Systems (Emobility & BESS)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Project Manager to lead rooftop photovoltaic installations combined with battery storage and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

In this role, you will:

• Take technical ownership of rooftop solar projects (typically >500 kWp) from planning through construction to customer handover and internal service transfer
• Manage complete project delivery including technical planning, construction oversight, and quality assurance
• Coordinate all health, safety, and workplace protection measures across project sites
• Ensure projects meet timeline, quality, and cost objectives with full documentation
• Optimize and control project budgets and expenditures
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles
• Present project status and progress to internal teams and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in engineering (electrical, energy, or similar) or comparable technical qualification with relevant experience
• Proven experience as a project manager in plant construction; hands-on knowledge with commercial rooftop solar systems preferred
• Understanding of grid integration for renewable energy systems
• Track record with EPC contracts, customer acceptance procedures, system certifications, and commissioning of solar installations
• Strong communication skills with experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders
• Self-directed, structured, and accountable working style
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Valid Class B driver's license
