Account Executive Accounting – France 🇫🇷

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client in Paris who is building a strategic new sales function focused on helping business creators get their accounting solutions right from day one. This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor of a high-priority initiative within a profitable, fast-growing organization serving hundreds of thousands of SME clients across Europe.

As an Account Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to signed contract—working with newly onboarded business owners who need expert guidance on accounting solutions. You'll report directly to an experienced Sales Lead who has built teams from scratch and evolved through every stage of the sales cycle herself.

Responsibilities

• Engage newly onboarded business creators within days of account creation and guide them to the right accounting offer
• Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from first call through contract signature
• Maintain proactive follow-up on accounts that go quiet, creating opportunities through thoughtful persistence
• Diagnose each client's accounting needs using a consultative, soft-selling approach
• Handle competitive and objection-based negotiation with confidence
• Leverage AI tools to personalize outreach, prep calls, and speed up qualification
• Help shape processes and ways of working as part of building this new team from the ground up

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of full-time sales experience (CDI/permanent contract) with proven closing experience
• Ownership of at least one complete sales cycle from end to end; strong closing rate is a plus
• Fluency in French (C2 level minimum) and English (C1+ level minimum)—both are mandatory
• Confidence on the phone with ability to build trust quickly and bring a consultative mindset to every call
• Comfort working in an early-stage, evolving environment where processes are still being created
• Resilience and persistence—you keep going on unresponsive accounts without losing energy or tact
• Natural use of AI tools to sharpen outreach, preparation, and follow-up
• Ability to give feedback and adapt quickly when things change

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process with our talent team and are competitive with the Paris market for Account Executive roles in fintech.
