Director, Partnerships, Global

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential global media organization seeking a Director of Partnerships to drive strategic joint business plan (JBP) opportunities with major digital platforms including Google, Amazon, Pinterest, Meta, and TikTok. This role serves as the critical link between global investment specialists and client account teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and delivering JBP partnership opportunities for key global clients, coordinating complex client and agency structures across regions and markets
• Developing integrated investment strategies with relevant media partners to deliver progressive, strategic client partnerships
• Managing partner relationships with key digital vendors to maximize client benefits from negotiated trading deals and JBPs
• Ensuring digital investment associated with JBPs is tracked and reported with full transparency on pacing versus investment commitments
• Working collaboratively with specialist practice departments to deliver innovative, cross-media global JBP opportunities
• Supporting development and monitoring of opportunities with vendors in the Diversity, Sustainability, and Inclusion space
• Deploying and monitoring global JBPs across local markets and regions to ensure targets are met and value is unlocked
• Developing best-in-class campaign measurement frameworks and building case studies for socialization with teams and clients
• Managing monthly partner investment pacing against agreed JBP commitments, coordinating with regional and market teams
• Briefing and managing client quarterly business reviews and JBP reviews
• Supporting new business pitches and proposals with content partnership strategies

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Deep understanding of the digital media landscape, with strategic knowledge to deliver effective plans aligned with client objectives
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain working relationships with clients, global media vendors, and internal teams
• Proven ability to develop and sell partnerships persuasively with confidence, passion, and enthusiasm to both clients and internal stakeholders
• Experience presenting confidently with gravitas and impact
• Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage complex, multi-market client structures
• Leadership qualities including integrity, positive approach, and ability to motivate teams
• Capability to independently own and manage relationships
• Ambition and drive to execute new ideas and stay at the forefront of industry developments
• UK work authorization required for this London-based position
