Senior Solutions Engineer (DACH)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for a Senior Solutions Engineer to cover the DACH region. In this role, you will serve as a strategic technical expert, partnering closely with sales teams, enterprise customers, and ecosystem stakeholders to drive meaningful security outcomes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Partnering strategically with the sales organization to qualify and shape opportunities by deeply understanding customer environments, challenges, and business drivers
• Leading high-impact technical engagements including deep-dive discussions, advanced product demonstrations, proof-of-value exercises, proof-of-concept implementations, and architectural reviews
• Serving as a senior subject-matter expert across EDR/XDR, AI Security, Cloud Security, Identity Security, Observability, and SIEM technologies, translating complex concepts into meaningful business and security outcomes
• Acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise and government customers, guiding them in designing, validating, and implementing robust, scalable security architectures
• Delivering compelling executive-level presentations tailored to customer priorities and business objectives
• Leading and contributing to RFP/RFI processes with detailed technical responses
• Channeling customer insights back to Product and Engineering teams to influence product roadmap direction
• Mentoring junior and mid-level Solutions Engineers to drive technical excellence across the wider team

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with the following qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Solutions Engineering or technical pre-sales roles, with deep expertise in cybersecurity, EDR/XDR, SIEM, observability, and modern security architectures
• Strong technical depth across industry-leading platforms and frameworks in endpoint security, cloud security, identity management, logging, and threat detection
• Proven experience working with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executives, architects, and practitioners alike
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose challenges in large, complex enterprise environments and design scalable, outcome-focused solutions
• Track record of building long-term trust with enterprise and government customers
• Highly self-driven and organized approach to work, with genuine passion for cybersecurity innovation and AI-driven security
• Ability to manage multiple high-stakes engagements simultaneously in fast-paced environments
• Fluency in German and English required for this DACH-focused position
