Werkstudent (m/w/d) AI Engineering

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential B2B services organization seeking a working student to join their newly established AI Center of Excellence. In this role, you will:

• Support the development of modern AI applications across various business units, contributing to more intelligent and efficient processes
• Work closely with AI Engineers on developing new solutions and gradually take on more responsibility in ongoing projects
• Implement smaller AI and automation projects independently while bringing your own technical ideas to the table
• Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI technologies including multi-agent systems, enterprise RAG solutions, voice AI, and large language models
• Apply current AI architectures in real-world projects rather than just theoretical contexts
• Collaborate directly with business units in a fast-paced environment where innovation is actively encouraged

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with the following profile:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with AI focus
• Enthusiasm for modern AI technologies with ideally some initial experience in Python, APIs, databases, or AI tools
• Passion for experimenting with new technologies, solving technical challenges, and implementing ideas independently
• Desire to gain practical experience in an innovative business environment
• Ability to work regularly on-site in Nuremberg
• Structured work approach and strong communication skills in German (minimum C1 level) with the ability to present complex topics clearly

This is a working student position requiring on-site presence in Nuremberg two days per week.
