Staff Solutions Engineer (DACH)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for a Staff Solutions Engineer to serve the DACH region. In this remote role, you will act as a strategic technical expert, partnering with sales teams and enterprise clients to drive meaningful security outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering strategically with sales to qualify and shape opportunities by understanding customer environments, challenges, and business drivers
• Leading high-impact technical engagements including deep-dive discussions, advanced product demonstrations, proof-of-value exercises, and architectural reviews
• Serving as a senior subject-matter expert across endpoint detection and response, extended detection and response, AI security, cloud security, identity security, observability, and security information and event management
• Acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise and government customers, guiding them in designing, validating, and implementing scalable security architectures
• Delivering compelling executive-level presentations tailored to customer priorities
• Contributing to RFP and RFI processes and channeling customer insights to influence product development
• Mentoring junior and mid-level solutions engineers to drive technical excellence across the team

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in solutions engineering or technical pre-sales roles, with deep expertise in cybersecurity and modern security architectures
• Strong technical depth across endpoint security, cloud security, identity management, logging, and threat detection platforms
• Proven experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executives, architects, and technical practitioners
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose challenges in large, complex environments and design scalable, outcome-focused solutions
• Experience building long-term trust with enterprise and government customers
• Self-driven, highly organized work style with genuine passion for cybersecurity innovation and AI-driven security
• Ability to manage multiple high-stakes engagements in fast-paced environments
• Fluency in German and English to serve the DACH market effectively
