Senior C&B Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Senior C&B Manager based in Paris. Our client is a fast-scaling European company serving hundreds of thousands of customers across multiple markets. They've built a sophisticated, AI-enabled workplace where compensation strategy directly impacts hiring, retention, and internal equity.

This is not a reporting role. You'll be a trusted advisor on sensitive compensation decisions while building the frameworks that support long-term growth. You'll partner directly with senior leadership, Talent Acquisition, and People teams to turn complex questions into clear, defensible recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition, People Partners, and managers on compensation decisions including hiring offers, promotions, retention cases, and off-cycle reviews
• Translate complex compensation and benefits questions into clear recommendations using business context, internal equity, market data, and long-term consistency
• Own and execute key compensation processes including salary review cycles, policy updates, and compliance monitoring
• Build and maintain scalable frameworks across global grading, leveling, salary ranges, and pay transparency initiatives
• Strengthen compensation governance through improved decision rules, data quality controls, and self-service resources in collaboration with People, Finance, Legal, and HRIS teams
• Manage benefits renewals across multiple European countries

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Solid experience in Compensation & Benefits with ownership of multiple end-to-end compensation review cycles
• Proven track record managing benefits renewals for European countries
• Deep expertise across salary ranges, leveling, off-cycle reviews, promotions, retention strategies, and pay-transparency topics
• Business partnering skills: ability to identify the real problem, apply market data with judgment, and deliver clear recommendations beyond benchmark sharing
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities including the ability to challenge senior leaders constructively, explain trade-offs, and build alignment
• Ownership mindset with ability to drive complex topics independently from problem identification through implementation in fast-moving environments

Preferred:

• Experience in tech, fintech, or other fast-scaling international environments
• Multi-country compensation project experience
• Familiarity with modern compensation platforms such as Comptryx, Radford, Figures, or Pave
